Cough and cold are two diseases that can be easily transmitted from one person to another. One can get either one or both two diseases at the same time.

Usually, this disease is characterized by other simpler symptoms like sore throat, headache, runny nose, malaise or weakening of the whole body, sleeplessness or insomnia, etc. This disease doesn’t choose its victim but, children and aged individuals are usually more susceptible to this disease because of weaker immune system.

  • Half cup of water, honey and lemon juice can give good relief in these symptoms.
  • Another good alternative for fast relief is mixing the same amount of cinnamon powder, cardomon, ginger powder and black pepper with powdered sugar and one teaspoon of honey.
  • Small ginger chewed with half a pinch of salt can give great relief in the throat.
